Spring and the good weather are already here, and there is no better plan than enjoying a gin and tonic prepared outdoors to liven up evenings with friends. Its balance and freshness make it the best drink to share with a few laughs and a good conversation. Why? We’ll prove it to you:
It’s the drink of the moment
Despite being a drink that has been made for hundreds of years, it is one of the trendiest cocktails, a must-have at events and meetings with friends. There is no cocktail bar that does not have a multitude of Gin-based cocktail recipes on its menu or that can surprise us with Nordés Galician gin.
It’s a very versatile drink and combines perfectly with any dish or recipe.
Nordés has different qualities, but one of the ones we like the most is its ability to amazingly pair with a wide variety of ingredients and dishes, allowing any recipe to be enhanced if accompanied by a Nordés gin and tonic. We always prefer pure, honest and lovingly prepared food, food that transports you to another time and place, often close to the sea and nature.
There is no specific time to enjoy it
After a family meal, in an afterwork with colleagues, at midday at aperitif time… A gin and tonic with Nordés premium gin goes well at any time of the day due to its unique and refreshing taste. No matter the time or place, you will always manage to sublimate these usual activities with Nordés, since it offers you to live these moments in a different and gastronomic way.
A gin and tonic prepared by Nordés has its own ritual for you to show off!
Despite its simplicity, it hides a unique secret, and making it correctly has its own ritual. So how do you prepare a proper Nordés Gin?
The original recipe enhances the aromatic singularities of our gin. To prepare it, we suggest serving it in a wide glass with plenty of ice and adding the ingredients in the following proportions: start with 5cl of Nordés gin and 20cl of tonic, preferably neutral. To finish, garnish it with 3 white grapes. The grapes reinforce the Albariño nuances that are present in the gin and create an ideal cocktail to enjoy in good company.
You will make the best cocktails in town.
You can become the main bartender at all your gatherings with family and friends by creating famous cocktails with simple processes and exquisite natural ingredients thanks to the recipes of Alejandro Sebastián and Willy Gómez, two renowned Spanish bartenders. Some of these cocktails are “The Nordés combination”, a cocktail by Alejandro Sebastián that mixes classic with traditional and has an aromatic touch of laurel, or “Hierba Luisa Nordés”, created by Willy Gómez and ideal for the aperitif moment.
