Home-made cocktails to enjoy and make at home

For those days when you feel like staying in, we’ve put together two simple and easy-to-make recipes to help you perfect your cocktail-making skills. These are two creations to slowly savour whilst enjoying the moment, whether as an aperitif or digestif.

La Rosa de los Vientos

This cocktail takes us to the New York of Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Pure sophistication and zero complications! We’ve named it after one of the symbols of Nordés: the compass rose.

The freshness of the lemon combines perfectly with the fruitiness of the raspberry. With this cocktail, the method and presentation are equally important. Before beginning, chill the glass you’re going to use. You should preferably use a coupette. You’ll have seen this type of glass, which has a broad bowl and a thin, elegant stem, used for world-famous cocktails such as the daiquiri and margarita.

To begin with, take four raspberries and crush them in the cocktail shaker. Then add 6 centilitres of Nordés, 2 centilitres of lemon juice and two egg yolks. Give it a good shake and serve. Enjoy!

A tip from Nordés: garnish your glass with a raspberry skewer. Try to make sure they don’t sink and savour them whilst sipping on your cocktail.

Nordés Soplo de Pasión

This cocktail, with lemon juice and passion fruit, is ideal for celebrating a special occasion as a couple.

The cardamom, with its coffee-coloured seeds, gives it balsamic notes to contrast the slightly sour taste of the passion fruit and lemon. Firstly, remove the flesh from half a passion fruit and set aside the other half to garnish your glass. Then take two centilitres of lemon juice, 1.5 centilitres of vanilla syrup and three cardamom seeds.

Chill a martini glass. Crush the cardamom seeds and add them to the cocktail shaker along with the rest of the ingredients and 5 centilitres of Nordés. Fill with ice and give it a good shake to mix all the ingredients together. Serve and garnish your glass with the other half of the passion fruit you set aside and an edible flower.

A tip from Nordés: make this cocktail with your partner and follow each step with passion. You can split the tasks, such as crushing the cardamom seeds, cutting the passion fruit in two, removing the ice cubes and choosing the flower to garnish your glass with.
