We know that many of you, in addition to loving this gin from Galicia, also love the bottle it comes in. And that’s because everyone is drawn to its design, inspired by the ceramics of Sargadelos.
This must be why more and more people collect the bottles, and even go so far as to give them a second life. So here are some of the ideas you’ve shared with us on social media. We love them!
1. A glass, jar or candy dish
By using the alcohol-soaked thread technique to cut glass, you can turn our bottle into anything you set your mind to: a glass, a candy dish or even a small flower pot. Don’t forget to sand down the edges to prevent cuts.
2. A vase
This is no doubt the simplest idea, but also our favorite. Just take off the cap and you have a nice Nordés flower vase.
3. A lamp
Many of our customers surprised us by turning our Nordés bottle into nice table lamps. Some are even being sold!
4. A soap dispenser
And if you’re looking for something that’s as decorative as it is useful, here’s an idea for turning our bottle into a beautiful soap dispenser.
Which is your favorite?
If after seeing all these ideas you can’t wait to finish the bottle and get to work, here’s the recipe for the perfect gin and tonic to give it the sending off it deserves.
Or if arts and crafts isn’t your thing, then you know what to do: dispose of the bottle and cap in their respective recycling containers.
