Only one week into spring and the good weather is already here. The trees are blooming and with it, the plans that coax us outside to enjoy nature (as long as you’re not an allergy sufferer).
It’s time to breathe in fresh air and get carried away by the Nordés wind and the good weather it brings. Need ideas for this weekend?
Discover your neighborhood
Go out for a walk and see what’s around you. There’s no doubt a park nearby or a spot you haven’t been to yet.
Do some hiking
This time of year is perfect for hiking. You don’t need to get up early to avoid the heat, like in the summer, and thanks to the winter rains and thawing ice in high areas, rivers and fountains are full, leaving us with a relaxing sound.
Make yourself a good picnic
Use these spring days to eat outside and then spend the rest of the day outdoors. A park, a natural area or scenic overlook are great options to treat yourself and unwind.
Grow a garden
Spring is a good time to plant. If you don’t have a garden, you can start one. This time of year is perfect for planting flowers or fruits, and even some of our botanicals, like sage, which needs direct sunlight and grows fast with little fuss.
Enjoy table talk in the sun
Spring brings with it the season of outdoor table talk that’s so great for catching up and having a nice chat. Whether in your favorite sidewalk cafe or at home, enjoy a digestive cocktail made with our Galician gin. Check out the Nordés gin and tonic recipes here, and let the moment stretch out until sundown.
